Understanding & Teaching Challenging Students Part Two - 07/13/12

This week we present Part Two in a two-part series called Understanding and Teaching Challenging Students. 

Last week, we interviewed Dr. Nancy Rappaport, co-author of The Behavior Code. Dr. Rappaport discussed ways in which adults can support children who exhibit behavior that we don't understand and don't know how to handle. 

This week, we are pleased to be interviewing Jessica Minahan. Jessica is the second author of The Behavior CodeJessica Minahan is a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) and special educator. Jessica is currently employed in the Newton, Massachusetts, public school system as a district-wide behavior analyst. Her particular interest is to serve these students by combining behavioral interventions with a comprehensive knowledge of best practices for those with complex mental health profiles and learning needs.
