Understanding and Teaching Challenging Students, Part One - 07/06/12

This week we will begin Part One in a two-part series called Understanding and Teaching Challenging Students.

As parents and teachers, we are often faced with children who exhibit behavior that we don't understand and don't know how to handle. In school, often children with challenging behaviors are sent into the hallway, or worse, sent to the Principal's office.

Listen to The Inclusive Class Podcast live on Friday, July 6, 2012 @ 9 AM EST as guest, Dr. Nancy Rappaport talks about how to understand children with difficult behaviors and ways to keep them in the classroom and learning.

Dr. Rappaport is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Among numerous professional roles, she is co-author of the book, The Behavior Code: A Practical Guide to Understanding and Teaching the Most Challenging Students.
