We begin our series with two representatives from the Maryland Coalition for Inclusive Education (MCIE). Selene Almazan, MCIE's Co-Executive Director of Advocacy Services, and Carol Quirk, founding member and Co-Executive Director, will be providing advice on how to make inclusive practices a reality for your school.
The MCIE has a vision of a society where neighborhood schools welcome all students, engage them in learning, and form the foundation for inclusive communities. MCIE serves families who have children with disabilities and public schools/educators who seek to include children with disabilities in general education classes in their neighborhood schools.
Tune in to our live show @ 9 AM EST on 08/10/12 or listen to the recorded version!
