How to Make Inclusive Practices a Reality For Your School

The new school year is fast approaching and The Inclusive Class Podcast is set to help you prepare! On Friday, August 10, 2012 we will kick off our "Back to School" series which is 3 podcasts that will discuss tips, strategies and resources for helping your child settle in to a new school year.

We begin our series with two representatives from the Maryland Coalition for Inclusive Education (MCIE).   Selene Almazan, MCIE's Co-Executive Director of Advocacy Services, and Carol Quirk, founding member and Co-Executive Director, will be providing advice on how to make inclusive practices a reality for your school.

The MCIE has a vision of a society where neighborhood schools welcome all students, engage them in learning, and form the foundation for inclusive communities. MCIE serves families who have children with disabilities and public schools/educators who seek to include children with disabilities in general education classes in their neighborhood schools.

Tune in to our live show @ 9 AM EST on 08/10/12 or listen to the recorded version!
