Bullying Doesn't Belong Here: The Nature of Inclusive Schools

Join us for this special event!
On Friday, April 5 at 5 pm EST,  The Inclusive Class Podcast, will be speaking with documentary filmmaker, Lee Hirsch.  Hirsch is an award-winning film director and producer. One of his most notable movies is Bully, which was released in April 2012.
Bully followed the lives of 5 students who came from various cultures, communities and socio-economic backgrounds. It documented the bullying that each student faced on a daily basis. In addition, it gave the audience a glimpse at the type of school environment each student was in.
Through his observations and own life experiences, Lee will give us insight into bullying in schools. He will discuss where he thinks bullying stems from and the type of school environment that gives students the opportunity to bully one another. In addition, Lee will offer ways in which the school community can change to eliminate the culture of bullying.
