I haven't read it yet myself, but he was a very knowledgable and interesting guest to have on our show. You can see the book on his website, http://www.kaufmanpsychological.org/untitled1.html.Nicole Eredicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10548972432407149438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1123570874185341600.post-20758300456757153752012-05-27T17:50:19.324-07:002012-05-27T17:50:19.324-07:00This year I discovered Executive Function by way o...This year I discovered Executive Function by way of a friend working on her thesis. She did a great job with helping us and my child. She even assigned us great reading and we had book discussions during the process. I just can't let it go. :-) I have read:
Late, Lost and Unprepared
Smart but Scattered
The Explosive Child

Do you have any other book suggestions?Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07402232953182372228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1123570874185341600.post-65266143432746883982012-05-27T17:47:09.633-07:002012-05-27T17:47:09.633-07:00I love how creative you are. All energy goes to filling out planner, not actually processing what tasks to do. What great accomodations!Nicole Eredicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10548972432407149438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1123570874185341600.post-32410696259123236502012-02-19T21:03:48.813-08:002012-02-19T21:03:48.813-08:00We have an 11 year old with PDD-NOS/ADHD. He vocalizes what his homework is and use a prompt card to answer questions concerning what he needs to accomplish the homework or statements about how much he has completed. It has worked BEAUTIFULLY. It has taken the fine motor focus/frustration and allowed the planning/transition to be FOCUSED on planning and transition.... rather than his weak fine motor skills. In addition to his recording, his teacher/aide record any other issues/concerns from the day.Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01589953836453192471noreply@blogger.com
